ABOUT us
Philip de Iongh - Sea Kayak Coach and Guide
Since growing up on the coast, I have spent much of my life on, in and around water. This love of the sea has inspired my hobbies of sailing and kayaking, as well as my career in outdoor education. I am passionate about the way sea kayaking provides a unique way to explore our wonderful coastlines and love sharing that with other people.
When I am not on the water, I also work as a mountain leader, volunteer with the local Mountain Rescue team, and love to cycle, run and climb. On a rare occasion I will have a rest day and stay warm and dry.

Since moving to the west coast of Scotland, I have become fascinated by the history, geology and ecology of the area. With ruined castles and abandoned villages, reminders of the land's volcanic past, and abundant wildlife, this area continues to surprise and delight.
